Dental implantology workshop by PDA Lahore empowers 55 young dentists with hands-on surgical and prosthetic training
LAHORE: The Pakistan Dental Association (PDA) Lahore chapter, in collaboration with de’Montmorency College of Dentistry, successfully conducted a comprehensive hands-on workshop on dental implantology, recently. The full-day training (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 55 young dental professionals, reflecting a strong and growing interest in advanced implant techniques in Pakistan.
Held at one of the most respected dental institutions in the country, the workshop offered evidence-based clinical training on modern implant protocols, from surgical placement to prosthetic restoration.
Participants placed dental implants on typodont models, gaining real-world experience in surgical techniques and restorative protocols. The session included live, step-by-step demonstrations of implant impression techniques, covering both close-tray and open-tray systems, performed with clinical accuracy.

The workshop featured expert guidance from seasoned professionals in oral and maxillofacial surgery and prosthodontics, all of whom are proud alumni of de’Montmorency College of Dentistry:

Contributions were also made by faculty members of OMFS de’Montmorency, including Dr. Mustafa Chaudhary, Dr. Ali Malik, and Dr. Imran Saleh, who supported the live demonstrations and engaged with participants during case-based discussions.
