KARACHI: Bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world healthcare practice, students from Jinnah Medical & Dental College (JMDC) recently participated in an educational visit to Platinum Pharmaceuticals, gaining valuable exposure to the pharmaceutical manufacturing process and its role in patient care.
The visit was organized by the Department of Community Dentistry for second- and third-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) students as part of the institution’s ongoing efforts to strengthen practical learning and interdisciplinary healthcare education.
The educational activity was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Mohsin Haider, Head of the Department of Community Dentistry, Dr. Huzaifa Saeed, Head of the Department of Oral Medicine, and Dr. Sheheryar, Senior Registrar, Oral Surgery. Faculty support was also provided by demonstrators Dr. Aimen, Dr. Arish, and Dr. Ibtehaj.
