According to data from PubMed and the World Dental Federation (FDI), publications in dental sciences have risen by more than 40% over the past decade, with major advances in prosthodontics, digital dentistry, and minimally invasive treatments reshaping clinical practice and education worldwide. In Pakistan, this momentum has translated into growing scholarly contributions and participation in international forums — a trend most recently showcased at the 3rd International Conference on Emerging Trends in Health Sciences held at Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University (SMBBMU), Larkana.
