BADC’s Kahaf Larik secures 3rd position at LUMHS 6th International Dental Conference, Jamshoro

JAMSHORO: The Bibi Aseefa Dental College (BADC) in Larkana has made a remarkable mark at the 6th International Dental Conference and Student Expo 2026, held at Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUMHS) in Jamshoro. The college proudly secured 3rd position in the Poster Competition, an outstanding achievement that highlights BADC’s growing influence in dental education and research.

Innovative research by 2nd year BDS student Kahaf Larik

Kahaf Larik, a 2nd Year BDS student from BADC, represented the college with her insightful research-based poster titled: “Traditional Versus Digital Education Among Dental Students: Analytical Cross-Sectional Analysis”. Her project critically analyzed the effectiveness and acceptance of traditional versus digital educational methodologies among dental students, shedding light on emerging trends in dental education.

The poster examined how digital education is increasingly being integrated into dental curricula and its impact on student learning and engagement. Miss Larik’s research also highlighted the growing acceptance of digital tools among dental students, reflecting the ongoing shift in how dental education is delivered worldwide.

The project was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. A. Bari Memon, the Chairperson of the Department of Community Dentistry at BADC.
