Dr Khurshid Ahmad inaugurates Pakistan’s largest integrated dental conference and trade exhibition
LAHORE: Pakistan’s biggest and most comprehensive dental gathering, the 8th DTMA Dental Exhibition, held alongside the 14th International and 34th National Pakistan Dental Association (PDA) Dental Conference, was formally inaugurated today, Friday, December 26, 2025, at the Expo Center Lahore, marking the start of a three-day mega event continuing through Sunday, December 28.
The event was inaugurated by Dr Khurshid Ahmad, President Pakistan Dental Association (PDA) Central Council, who led the opening ceremony in the presence of senior leadership from the Dental Trade & Manufacturers Association Pakistan (DTMA), representatives of PDA Punjab and PDA Lahore, and a large cross-section of the national dental community.
Unity of profession and industry
The inauguration ceremony reflected the growing alignment between Pakistan’s dental profession and dental trade sector. Alongside Dr Khurshid Ahmad, office-bearers of DTMA, leaders from PDA Punjab and PDA Lahore, and prominent dental professionals attended the opening, highlighting a shared commitment to advancing dental education, innovation, and industry growth under a unified national platform.

Under this framework, PDA’s flagship international and national dental conference is now formally synchronized with the DTMA trade exhibition, reducing fragmentation, consolidating national efforts, and encouraging participation from all PDA regional and auxiliary associations within one annual event.
