Jaint Kumar represents Pakistan at One Voice Conference 2025, USA under global oral health leadership program
KARACHI: In a moment of immense national pride and academic achievement, Jaint Kumar, a final-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) student at Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine (AIDM), Karachi, has not only made history as the first Pakistani selected for the fully-funded One Voice Conference 2025 in the United States—but also won 2nd position for the Best Scientific Research Poster at the prestigious AADMD Conference held in Phoenix, Arizona.

The project was supervised by Prof. Dr. Naseer Ahmed, Dr. Anu Shukla, Dr. Marion Bergman, and Dr. David Fray, and it focused on innovative strategies for improving oral healthcare access among underserved communities.
This dual achievement unfolded under the umbrella of the Student Leadership in Global Oral Health Program, jointly hosted by the Alliance for Oral Health Across Borders and the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry (AADMD).
Held from June 5 to 8 at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona, the One Voice Conference 2025 brought together global healthcare leaders, advocates, and students to address challenges and strategies in equitable oral healthcare delivery.
“Jaint’s participation in this global program exemplifies the caliber of our students and their commitment to making oral health accessible to all,” said Dr. Naseer Ahmed, Vice Principal of Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine. “It’s a proud moment for the entire AIDM community.”
