PMDC reschedules MDCAT 2025 to October 26 after floods
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has officially rescheduled the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2025, citing the impact of recent floods across the country.

The exam, which was originally scheduled for October 5, 2025, will now be conducted on October 26, 2025 (Sunday).
According to an official notification from PMDC, the decision has been taken due to prevailing floods an torrential rains in different parts of the country. PMDC officials further told that the decision has been made in the best interest of students to ensure that candidates from flood-affected areas are not at a disadvantage and have equal educational opportunities.
This postponement comes just days after PMDC’s August 30 notification, which reaffirmed its earlier decision to hold the MDCAT 2025 on October 5. That decision had come after weeks of speculation and uncertainty regarding the exam schedule.
