LAHORE: The Department of Dental Education, de’Montmorency College of Dentistry, recently organized a faculty development workshop titled “From Lecture to Impact: Energizing the Gen Z Learner”. The session was facilitated by Prof. Dr. Asma Shafique (BDS, FCPS, FICD, MSc HSEd–Canada), Head of the Department of Orthodontics at LMDC, Lahore.
The workshop was attended by faculty members and demonstrators and was graced by the presence of Principal Prof. Dr. Nabeela Riaz, Prof. Muhammad Ilyas, Prof. Shahid, Prof. Zainab Rizvi, Prof. Momina, and the Medical Superintendent of Punjab Dental Hospital.
Focused on the evolving educational needs of Gen Z learners, the workshop highlighted learner-centered and interactive teaching strategies aimed at enhancing engagement, critical thinking, and educational impact. Principal Prof. Dr. Nabeela Riaz applauded the workshop organizers and facilitator for the excellent delivery of content and appreciated the initiative as a valuable contribution toward faculty development and academic excellence.
