LAHORE: The Institute of Advanced Dental Sciences & Research (IADSR) will conduct a specialized workshop on Exodontia Techniques from September 19th to 21st, providing participants with extensive hands-on training on live patients.
The workshop will be led by Prof. Dr. Arshad Mahmood, Dean of HBS Dental College Islamabad, who holds multiple distinguished qualifications including MDS, FICD, FPFA, FPAOMFS, FPSOMP.
Objectives
The objective of the workshop is to elaborate exodontia criteria from an operational standpoint and to establish specific surgical techniques through hands-on management. Participants will be trained to enhance their knowledge and develop confidence in exodontia procedures, including complex surgical cases.

By the conclusion of the workshop, participants are expected to:
- Become familiar with the key features of exodontia techniques.
- Be prepared to manage surgical extractions, BDRS, and impactions.
- Understand approaches to exodontia with a vision of difficulty indexes and advanced methods.

- Fundamentals of local anesthesia and exodontia.
- Proper use of elevators and forceps.
- Routine extractions and management of fractured roots.
- Surgical extractions and third molar techniques.
