DDC Free dental checkup activity at HealthAsia 2025 emphasizes public health
KARACHI: The Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) participated in recently held HealthAsia 2025 at the Expo Center Karachi with a dedicated free dental checkup initiative. Led by Dr. Muhammad Taqi and assisted by Dr. Adnan Anwar, Dr. Muhammad Gohar, Dr. Amber Saaed, and Dr. Rida Batool, the team provided free oral screenings and oral hygiene awareness to the public, reinforcing the university’s commitment to community oral health and preventive dentistry.
Key activities during the event
Throughout the event, over 100 participants benefited from the dental services provided. The team conducted:
- Basic oral examinations and screenings
- Patient counseling on oral hygiene practices
