Margalla College of Dentistry hosts workshop on artificial intelligence in medical education

RAWALPINDI: The Department of Medical Education, Margalla College of Dentistry, Rawalpindi, organized a specialized workshop on artificial intelligence in medical education as part of its ongoing faculty development programme, highlighting the growing role of digital innovation in teaching and learning.

The session was facilitated by Prof. Dr. Shabana Ali, Head of the Department of Anatomy and Assistant Dean Medical Education at Riphah International University, Islamabad. She shared expert insights on how artificial intelligence can be effectively integrated into medical and dental education, as well as in academic research and assessment strategies.

Senior and junior faculty members from Margalla College of Dentistry participated actively in the workshop. The programme featured hands-on activities and interactive discussions, enabling participants to better understand real-world applications of artificial intelligence in classrooms, clinical teaching, and scholarly work.
