NDPC 2026 organizing team unveiled as Pakistan builds national digital academic legacy in dentistry

KARACHI: Pakistan’s dental academic community is preparing for a landmark moment as the organizing team of the National Dental Presentation Competition 2026 has been formally introduced. Designed as a first-of-its-kind national digital academic platform, NDPC 2026 aims to transform how dental ideas are presented, evaluated, and shared across the country.

At the heart of this initiative is the vision to create a sustainable academic culture that goes beyond traditional classroom boundaries. The competition is positioned not only as an event but as a structured national platform for academic visibility, innovation, and professional grooming in dentistry.

Leadership guiding the national vision

The initiative is led under the visionary leadership of Prof. Dr. Navid Rashid Qureshi, whose direction has shaped NDPC 2026 into a nationwide academic movement. His role emphasizes long-term academic continuity and the integration of digital tools into dental education.

The national platform is guided by chief organizers Prof. Dr. Uzma Zareef and Dr. Rizwan Hassan, who are steering the academic direction and overall structure of the competition. Their leadership ensures that NDPC 2026 remains aligned with international academic standards while staying relevant to local needs.

Coordination and operational strength

Strategic execution is being carried out by chief coordinators Dr. Amna Afridi and Dr. Sabaa Shahid. Their responsibilities include organizing nationwide participation, maintaining academic rigor, and ensuring smooth digital operations.

Operational coordination is further strengthened by coordinators Dr. Sarmad Khan and Dr. Duaa Ali, supported by an organizing team comprising Dr. Iqra Ali, Dr. Rabail Khero, Dr. Hassan Sadiq, Dr. Maryum Amoudi, Dr. Zoha Naqvi, and Dr. Kanwal Naz. Together, this team forms the backbone of NDPC 2026, ensuring nationwide academic engagement and smooth execution.

Building a digital academic legacy

NDPC 2026 is structured as phase one of a long-term national digital academic framework. The platform is expected to set new benchmarks in dental presentations, evaluation standards, and academic outreach. By creating a centralized national space for academic competition, the initiative seeks to encourage research culture, presentation skills, and peer learning among dental students and professionals.

Education experts believe that such initiatives are critical for preparing future dentists for global academic and professional challenges. A digital-first approach also ensures wider participation from across Pakistan, bridging geographical gaps and promoting equal academic opportunity.

A national platform for ideas and excellence

With the slogan “where ideas compete, excellence leads” NDPC 2026 represents a shift toward structured academic competitiveness in dentistry. It is designed to foster intellectual growth, reward innovation, and elevate Pakistan’s dental academic profile at the national level.

As preparations move forward, NDPC 2026 is being seen as more than a competition. It is emerging as a national academic institution in the making, driven by leadership, coordination, and a shared belief in academic excellence.
