ISLAMABAD: Today, 25th August 2025, marks the last date for regular registration of the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2025, the mandatory entrance exam for aspiring medical and dental students in Pakistan.
Candidates who do not complete their registration by the end of today will still be able to apply, but only with a late fee option available until 1st September 2025.
Education experts strongly urge students not to delay, as timely registration helps avoid technical issues, last-minute rush, and unnecessary extra charges. Thousands of applicants are expected to complete their submissions before the deadline today.
The MDCAT is a crucial step in Pakistan’s medical journey, determining admission to both public and private sector medical and dental colleges.
Key dates to remember:
✅ Regular Registration Deadline: 25th August 2025 (Today)
✅ Late Fee Deadline: 1st September 2025
Students are advised to apply immediately on the official MDCAT portal to ensure their seat for this year’s test.
New centres announced
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has announced that:
- Sukkur IBA University, Sukkur and Bolan University of Medical & Health Sciences, Quetta will establish an MDCAT Test Centre in Islamabad.
- This arrangement has been made to facilitate candidates with domicile from Sindh and Balochistan, enabling them to appear in the MDCAT at Islamabad instead of traveling to Sukkur or Quetta.
- Candidates from these provinces who wish to avail this option must select Islamabad Centre at the time of registration.
- Additionally, Jacobabad has also been designated as Test Centre for MDCAT-2025 in Sindh
Reminder: The regular registration deadline is 25th August 2025 (today). The late registration deadline with an additional fee is 1st September 2025.
