Hamdard University Dental Hospital research seminar focuses on evolving ideas into evidence
KARACHI: Hamdard University Dental Hospital will host a Research Seminar on October 28, 2025, under the theme “Evolving Ideas into Evidence.” The academic event aims to strengthen research culture among dental students and professionals while promoting innovation through evidence-based practices.
The seminar will be led by Prof. Syed Imran Hasan, Principal and Chairperson of the Research Advisory Committee at Hamdard University Dental Hospital. The event will feature a lineup of distinguished faculty and researchers, including Prof. Arshad Hasan, HOD of Operative Dentistry at DUHS, as the guest speaker.
A key highlight of the seminar will be the guest lecture titled “AI: Friend or Foe”, exploring the emerging role of artificial intelligence in dentistry and healthcare research.
Other notable contributors include Dr. Saima Asim, Associate Professor and Undergraduate Research Advisor; Prof. Nadeem Hafeez Khokar, Postgraduate Research Advisor; Dr. Shikoh Naz, Associate Professor; and Dr. Syed Muzammil Ali Shah, Associate Professor.
