IADSR advances oral health education with dental screening camp
LAHORE: The Institute of Advanced Dental Sciences & Research (IADSR) recently took another step in its community oral health promotion efforts by conducting a comprehensive dental awareness and screening camp. The initiative focused on strengthening preventive oral health education and fostering early awareness of good oral hygiene practices among schoolchildren at Government Girls Elementary School, Ameer Pur, Jhugian.
A dedicated team of IADSR dentists and dental professionals examined nearly 370 students, assessing their oral health status while identifying potential issues requiring timely attention. The camp emphasized the importance of prevention, early detection, and developing lifelong oral hygiene habits.
Students receive personalized guidance and hands-on learning
During the interactive outreach session, students were offered:
- Individual counselling on daily oral hygiene
- Demonstrations on correct toothbrushing techniques
- Guidance on why routine dental checkups matter
- Motivational conversations encouraging consistent dental care habits
