Dentist takes helm at PMA Chakwal, promising stronger professional unity

CHAKWAL: In a landmark moment highlighting medical–dental collaboration, Professor Dr. Arshad Mahmood Malik, a renowned oral and maxillofacial surgeon and Dean of HBS Dental College Islamabad, was elected President of Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Chakwal. His historic election underscores the growing synergy between dentistry and medicine in shaping Pakistan’s healthcare landscape.

The annual PMA Chakwal elections were conducted smoothly under the supervision of Presiding Officer Dr. Ikram-ul-Haq Awan, culminating in a dignified ceremony where newly elected office bearers took their oaths. Senior physician Dr. Afzal Bhatti administered the oath, affirming the trust of the medical community in the new leadership.
