PIMA webinar to explore diabetes and oral health nexus from a multidisciplinary perspective
KARACHI: The Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) – Dentistry will host a special webinar titled “Diabetes and Oral Health Nexus: A Multidisciplinary Perspective” on November 14, 2025 (Friday), from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM (PST), in commemoration of World Diabetes Day.
The online event, open to dental students and dental surgeons, will be broadcast live via Zoom and Facebook, offering participants valuable insights into the complex relationship between diabetes and oral health.

The webinar will highlight key topics including:
- Oral complications and the systemic impact of diabetes mellitus
- The bidirectional link between diabetes and periodontal disease
- Periodontal, prosthodontic, and surgical management in diabetic patients
