Pakistan Dental Association Karachi announces free dental camps for special children

KARACHI: The Pakistan Dental Association (PDA) Karachi Chapter has announced a series of free dental camps exclusively for special children, reaffirming its commitment to inclusive dental health and community welfare.

The initiative, part of PDA Karachi’s ongoing eight-month tenure, aims to promote oral hygiene awareness and deliver free dental check-ups to some of the most vulnerable and often neglected segments of society.

A mission for inclusion and impact

Dr. Feroze Jahangir, General Secretary of PDA Karachi, emphasized that the association is prioritizing outreach programs that create real societal impact.

“Special children are an integral part of our society, and ensuring their health and hygiene is a shared responsibility. We encourage dentists and volunteers to come forward and take part in this noble mission,” he said.

Dr. Feroze further shared that PDA Karachi will also conduct school-based health programs and additional awareness campaigns to further its public service agenda.

Call for volunteers and broader support

In addition to dentists and healthcare professionals, PDA Karachi has extended an earnest appeal to:

  • Philanthropists
  • Charitable individuals
  • Corporate sponsors
  • Socially responsible companies

These groups are invited to support the initiative through financial contributions, material donations, or logistical assistance. Every form of support will help expand the reach and impact of these camps, ensuring that more special children receive the care they deserve.
