Bolan Dental College orthodontics department presents clinical case on open bite malocclusion
QUETTA: The Orthodontics Department of Bolan Dental College (BDC) kicked off this week’s clinical case presentation series with an engaging session on the complexities of open bite malocclusion. The session highlighted the importance of evidence-based orthodontic practice in improving patient outcomes and advancing clinical learning.
Dr. Atika Iftikhar, a postgraduate resident, delivered a detailed presentation on the causes, clinical features, and treatment approaches for open bite malocclusion. Her talk included insights into functional and skeletal factors, diagnostic considerations, and the application of orthodontic appliances in managing open bite cases.
