Sir Syed dental students showcase oral health awareness through poster competition
KARACHI: The Sir Syed CDE committee, under the patronage of Dr. Sumera Saeed and Dr. Humaira Naureen, recently organized an interactive poster competition for dental students. The event provided a platform for young professionals to highlight prevalent oral health problems, along with effective diagnostic methods and preventive measures.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. HR Sukhia, Principal Dental, emphasized the importance of early diagnosis in dentistry. He noted that identifying dental anomalies at their initial stages is vital to preventing serious complications later in life.
Prof. Sukhia also appreciated the CDE committee and the administration for successfully organizing the event, which not only engaged students in academic creativity but also raised awareness about the significance of oral health education.
The competition encouraged dental students to showcase their knowledge and communication skills while highlighting the importance of proactive dental care, prevention strategies, and community engagement in promoting oral hygiene.
