Sir Syed tooth sensitivity seminar highlights diagnosis and treatment
KARACHI: The Sir Syed College of Dentistry held an insightful seminar on tooth sensitivity in collaboration with Sensodyne and Dr. Ashar Jamelle, Head of the Department of Periodontology. The event focused on raising awareness about dentin hypersensitivity, its impact on patients’ quality of life, and the latest evidence-based treatment solutions.
Prof. HR Sukhia, Principal Dental, emphasized that tooth sensitivity is one of the most common dental problems affecting the general population and often goes untreated due to lack of awareness.
Dr. Ashar Jamelle delivered an engaging session explaining the causes, diagnosis, and management of sensitive teeth, highlighting clinical protocols that dental practitioners can adopt to provide long-term relief to patients.
