KARACHI: The Pakistan Dental Association (PDA) Karachi Chapter has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic demise of Mr. Fahad Islam, Managing Director of Shahida Islam Medical and Dental College, who lost his life along with two beloved family members in a devastating landslide incident in the northern areas.
In a condolence statement, Prof. Dr. Navid Rashid Qureshi, President of PDA Karachi, paid tribute to Mr. Fahad Islam, describing him as not only a visionary leader but also a kind-hearted and dedicated individual whose contributions to the field of medical education were invaluable. He extended heartfelt prayers and sympathies to the bereaved family, asking Allah Almighty to grant the departed souls the highest place in Jannah and to give strength and patience to the grieving family.
Similarly, the Liaquat College of Medicine and Dentistry (LCMD) also issued a condolence note, echoing profound grief and shock over the tragic incident. LCMD Principal, Prof. Dr. Navid Rashid Qureshi, highlighted the late Mr. Fahad Islam’s commitment to advancing medical and dental education in Pakistan and remembered him as a respected leader and compassionate personality.
The passing of Mr. Fahad Islam is regarded as an irreparable loss to the medical and dental community of Pakistan, leaving a deep void in the field of education and leadership.
