White coat ceremony and orientation session held for first-year BDS students at LUMHS

JAMSHORO: The Faculty of Dentistry at Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUMHS), hosted a prestigious white coat ceremony and orientation session for the first-year BDS students of the 2025–26 batch at Latif Hall, marking their formal induction into the dental profession.

The ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. Ikram Din Ujjan, vice chancellor of LUMHS, who served as the chief guest. Addressing students and parents, he congratulated the new batch on joining one of Pakistan’s premier public sector medical universities. He emphasized the importance of discipline, dedication, and consistent hard work as essential ingredients for academic and professional success.

Prof. Dr. Feroze Ali Kalhoro, dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, delivered a warm welcome address, highlighting the critical role of dentistry in modern healthcare.
