Wisdom raises $21 million to scale AI dental billing platform in the U.S.
Wisdom, a U.S.-based AI dental billing platform, has raised $21 million in Series A funding led by Permanent Capital Ventures (PCV), with participation from Aquiline and existing investor Juxtapose. This new round brings the company’s total funding to $28 million since its launch in 2023, following a $7 million seed investment from Juxtapose.
Founded by CEO Stoyan Kenderov and co-founder Ashley Bond, Wisdom is on a mission to simplify and modernize dental billing and collections by combining artificial intelligence with expert human billing teams. The platform is designed to help dental practices of all sizes reduce administrative burdens, improve cash flow, and strengthen patient experience.
According to the company, Wisdom has achieved a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 73, reflecting high client satisfaction. Over half of its new customers come through referrals, demonstrating strong trust within the dental community.
Earlier this year, Wisdom was recognized as a Top Dental Billing Company by Healthcare Business Review and received the 2025 Dental Innovator Award from DentalIQ for its AI-assisted billing solution.
Funding to drive expansion, innovation
The $21 million investment will be used to accelerate product development and support expansion across the U.S. This includes scaling its services to cater to both independent dental practices and large dental support organizations (DSOs).
