Prof. Dr. Abdul Qadir Dal suffers fractures in Hyderabad road accident
HYDERABAD: Prof. Dr. Abdul Qadir Dal, Chairman of the Department of Operative Dentistry at Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS), was injured in a road accident in Hyderabad last night.
Family sources confirmed that Dr. Dal was leaving his clinic in the Saddar area when a speeding motorcycle hit him as he was walking towards his vehicle. The impact caused multiple injuries and fractures, particularly in his leg.
He was immediately shifted to Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi, where he is undergoing treatment. His condition is reported to be stable, and surgical intervention is expected soon to treat the fractures.
Colleagues, students, and the dental fraternity have expressed deep concern and extended prayers for his speedy recovery.
