Dental imaging CBCT workshop 2025 conducted at JMDC
KARACHI: The Jinnah Medical & Dental College (JMDC) successfully hosted an insightful and interactive Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) workshop in 2025, elevating dental imaging education for students and faculty. The workshop was conducted by Dr Uzair Jamal, assistant professor in the department of oral & maxillofacial surgery at JMDC, who brought his clinical expertise and academic experience to deliver a comprehensive learning session.
The CBCT workshop focused on the clinical applications of CBCT in implant dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, and oral & maxillofacial pathology, enabling participants to understand its importance for accurate diagnosis and precision treatment planning. Dr Uzair emphasized the critical role CBCT plays in modern dental practice and highlighted how 3D imaging transforms decision-making in complex cases.
