PDA Lahore participates in PAP 46 inaugural ceremony, advocates for FCPS in oral pathology
LAHORE: The Pakistan Dental Association (PDA) Lahore participated in the 46th Annual Pathology Conference (PAP 46), reaffirming its commitment to academic advancement, interdisciplinary collaboration, and professional excellence in oral and maxillofacial pathology.
President Dr. Tahir Mahmood and Senior Vice President Dr. Asifa Iqbal, who also serves as General Secretary of the Pakistan Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology (PSOMP), represented PDA Lahore at the prestigious event. The inaugural ceremony brought together leading experts and educators from across the country, including:

Call for FCPS program in oral pathology
During the conference, PDA Lahore requested the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) to initiate an FCPS program in oral pathology. This significant proposal aims to create structured pathways for postgraduate training, uplift academic standards, and enhance professional recognition for oral pathologists nationwide.
