FDI Sustainability Awards 2025 celebrate leadership in environmentally responsible dentistry
The FDI Sustainability Awards 2025 have recognized outstanding efforts to promote environmentally responsible dentistry on a global scale. Presented at the FDI World Dental Congress in Shanghai on 10 September 2025, the awards spotlight individuals and organizations that are transforming dental care through sustainable and eco-friendly practices.
FDI World Dental Federation (FDI) created the sustainability awards to encourage and reward dental practices and professionals who minimize dentistry’s environmental footprint while providing prevention-focused, high-quality care. Each year, four awards are presented — two for dental practices and two for individuals — giving winners international recognition for their contributions to sustainable healthcare.
This year’s sustainability champions include:
- Healthpoint Hospital (United Arab Emirates)
- Australian Dental Association (Australia)
- Dr. Hindol Das (India)
These winners were honored for their leadership, innovation, and commitment to reducing waste, cutting carbon emissions, and promoting ethical resource use in clinical and organizational settings.
