UOL’s UCD conducts prompt writing workshop to strengthen research and digital skills
LAHORE: The University College of Dentistry (UCD), a constituent college of the University of Lahore (UOL), organized a focused workshop titled “Learning ABC of Prompts Writing to Enhance Research Skills,” bringing together researchers and faculty members eager to build stronger digital and AI-based research competencies. The session highlighted prompt writing as a fast-emerging skill essential for improving academic productivity and research accuracy.
The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Seema Shafeeq and Dr. Mehvish Sajjad, who guided participants through the fundamentals of effective prompts, real-world applications of AI tools, and structured techniques to improve research outcomes. Participants engaged in interactive exercises designed to strengthen their understanding of AI-assisted research workflows.
Conducted under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Moghees A. Baig (Dean UCMD & Principal College of Dentistry) and Dr. Muhammad Aslam (Medical Superintendent, ULDH), the workshop reinforced UOL’s commitment to integrating modern digital skills into academic growth. Both leaders appreciated the initiative and emphasized that AI literacy is now essential for contemporary research environments.
