Team Smiles & Miles triumphs again at InspireDent 2025
ISLAMABAD: Innovation, entrepreneurship, and youthful ambition took center stage at the InspireDent Dental Startup Competition 2025, held during the Annual Dental Congress of the Pakistan Association of Dental Students (PADS) at NUST Islamabad. This year’s competition witnessed eight promising dental startups presented by talented student entrepreneurs, each offering creative and practical solutions to real-world dental challenges. Each team was given ten minutes to pitch, followed by an engaging Q&A session with the judges, fostering an environment of critical thinking and innovation.
The distinguished judging panel, comprising Dr. Osama Mushtaq and Dr. Miraat Anser, evaluated participants on the basis of innovation, feasibility, scalability, and long-term potential.
Emerging victorious for the second consecutive year, Team Smiles & Miles once again captured the spotlight — winning the InspireDent 2025 title along with a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.
As Pakistan’s first dental tourism platform, Smiles & Miles connects international patients with affordable, high-quality dental care in Pakistan, positioning the country as a global destination for modern dental treatment and cultural exchange. The startup aims to bridge global dental accessibility gaps while empowering local professionals through a system of trust, transparency, and digital innovation.
The winning team — Jaint Kumar, Saroop Raja, and Dhanish Kumar — expressed their heartfelt gratitude to PADS and the organizers for nurturing young innovators in dentistry and providing a platform to transform ideas into impactful ventures.
