Strong smiles, strong minds dental camp held in Karachi promotes oral health awareness among students
KARACHI: The Pakistan Association of Dental Students (PADS), in collaboration with students of Hamdard University, recently organized a community outreach initiative titled “Strong Smiles, Strong Minds” at Al Hidayah Academy, North Karachi. The event aimed to promote oral hygiene awareness and preventive dental care among school children, encouraging them to develop lifelong healthy habits.
The awareness camp featured free dental checkups, interactive educational demonstrations, and fun activities designed to engage young students. Volunteers from PADS and Hamdard University shared essential tips on tooth brushing techniques, cavity prevention, and the importance of regular dental visits.
By combining education with hands-on participation, the session made learning about oral health enjoyable and memorable for students. Teachers and parents also appreciated the initiative for highlighting the link between oral hygiene, confidence, and overall wellbeing.
