Free dental camp promotes inclusive oral healthcare for special children in Lahore
LAHORE: Experience Dentistry, in collaboration with Protect, organized a free dental camp at the Chaman Institute of Intellectual Children, Lahore, aiming to promote inclusivity and oral health awareness among intellectually challenged children.
The camp was led by Dr. Adan Zahoor, Chief Operating Officer of Experience Dentistry, and Dr. Warisha Khan, Campus Ambassador, who guided a dedicated team of volunteer dentists and dental students in delivering free dental check-ups, oral health education, and personalized hygiene sessions.
Empowering communities through dental outreach
This initiative reflects Experience Dentistry’s continued commitment to community-based dental outreach and its focus on accessible oral healthcare for all, especially for children with special needs. The event emphasized preventive care, routine dental hygiene practices, and the importance of early diagnosis in maintaining oral health.
“Such outreach activities help bridge the gap between awareness and access,” said Dr. Adan Zahoor, adding that community engagement and education play a crucial role in building lifelong oral health habits.
Promoting awareness and inclusivity
The event also aimed to educate caregivers and parents about the significance of regular dental check-ups and maintaining hygiene practices tailored to the needs of intellectually challenged children. By bringing dental professionals and the community together, the camp created a compassionate and learning-focused environment for both children and caregivers.
This initiative by Experience Dentistry and Protect Company serves as a strong example of how young dental professionals can contribute to building a healthier, more inclusive society through preventive care and service.
