KARACHI: The dental community is mourning the death of Dr Seerat Abbas Rajput, a Karachi-based Consultant Pediatric Dentist (Pedodontist) and Oral Health Educator who devoted more than 12 years to caring for children and promoting better oral health.
Dr Seerat passed away on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026. Her death has prompted an outpouring of condolences, with CBM Hospital also expressing grief over her passing.
Known for her commitment to pediatric dentistry, Dr Seerat built her professional work around preventive dental care, oral hygiene awareness and child-friendly treatment. Her approach focused not only on treating dental problems but also on helping children and families understand the importance of maintaining good oral health.
Alongside her clinical work, she served as an oral health educator, contributing to awareness about preventive dental care, healthy oral habits and the importance of regular dental attention among children and their families.
